What tip would you give to others to help create their 'chosen family' of friends?

if someone asks if they can bring a guest to your event, make sure they REALLY want to be there
just explain that you're being very intentional with these events to create a chosen family so you don't want to have any tag-alongs (people who are not very interested in being there)

organize larger social gatherings on a regular basis
such as every two weeks or every month at the same day and time so people know to expect them
0
organize small group gatherings every few weeks or so
this will allow you to bond with your closer friends who are also part of your community circle
0
be open and honest with your friends about your desire to be in a chosen family
this will start the discussion and get ideas flowing about who you think may be good candidates for this
0
let your friends know when you feel that they have become part of your chosen family
they will likely be very glad and proud that you told them that! :)
0
keep on organizing one-on-one activities with your closer friends
and do your best to introduce your friends to each other so as many bonds can form within your community circle as possible
0
remove people from your invite list if they don't express interest in your invitations
this allows you to know which of your friends are interested in receiving future invitations for your chosen family gatherings
0
establish a criteria or process with your friends
to establish how new people are added or removed from your chosen family
